Ever since sin seperate between God and man, the human race has desired to look beyond the vale that separates the finite from the Infinite God. From the rebellion at the tower of Babel, to the many idols made by various nations down through the centuries, man-kind has always tried to come up with an explanation of who God is.
Yet the sole proprietors of the truth about God can be traced through the line of Abraham. God revealed Himself to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; then to the Children of Israel through Moses, and then through various prophets for centuries. At last, when God’s great prophet clock said the time was right, God Himself appeared to human flesh, in the Man Jesus Christ. He is the ultimate revelation of God. After He ascended back to heaven, God continued to reveal Himself through the Holy Spirit to the Apostles of Jesus.
But during the dark ages of the Papal rule, many lost sight of the truth about God and the light took centuries to return, through the ceaseless labours of the reformers. But even today, in this age of light and technology, there seems to be so much confusion over who God is. Satan has succeeded misrepresenting God’s character across many fronts.
Considering we are now in the prophetic toenails of history, minutes to midnight, can we afford to be confused on this vital topic? We need to have a clear understanding of what we believe and then move on to what's most important.
