Most of us are very familiar with the story on Genesis 19 of the destruction of Sodom. But while studying this chapter again, I discovered something I hadn't seen before. The story line goes like this: 3 men come to visit Abraham: two are angels, and the other is Jesus Christ Himself. They reveal to Abraham that they are going to destroy Sodom and Abraham starts pleading with "the LORD" to save Sodom. The other two angels leave and go directly to Sodom. They stay with Lot and ev...
What is the Truth?
There is so much confusion about who God is... What is the Truth?
Ever since sin seperate between God and man, the human race has desired to look beyond the vale that separates the finite from the Infinite God. From the rebellion at the tower of Babel, to the many idols made by various nations down through the centuries, man-kind has always tried to come up with an explanation of who God is.
Yet the sole proprietors of the truth about God can be traced through the line of Abraham. God revealed Himself to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; then to the Children of Israel through Moses, and then through various prophets for centuries. At last, when God’s great prophet clock said the time was right, God Himself appeared to human flesh, in the Man Jesus Christ. He is the ultimate revelation of God. After He ascended back to heaven, God continued to reveal Himself through the Holy Spirit to the Apostles of Jesus.
But during the dark ages of the Papal rule, many lost sight of the truth about God and the light took centuries to return, through the ceaseless labours of the reformers. But even today, in this age of light and technology, there seems to be so much confusion over who God is. Satan has succeeded misrepresenting God’s character across many fronts.
Considering we are now in the prophetic toenails of history, minutes to midnight, can we afford to be confused on this vital topic? We need to have a clear understanding of what we believe and then move on to what's most important. We don't have time for lengthy debates. So we will try to make this to the point. Every second used to discuss this topic is one less second we have to do the work God has given us: to preach the three angel's messages and prepare for His second coming.
I've been in both camps, once an anti-trinitarian, and now a believer in the Heavenly Trio. My journey is documented in this book ->
The goal of this site is the present evidence and resources to help your discover the truth, like I did.
As a former Anti-trinitarian, I used to believe that Christ received His life from the Father at some point far back in the ages of eternity. One quote that disagreed with this conclusion was Desire of Ages 530: “In Christ is life, original, unborrowed, underived.” To find a way around this quote, I used to quote Selected Messages Volume 1, page 296: “In Him (Christ) was life, original, unborrowed, underived. This life is not inherent in man. He can possess it ...
Does Ellen White’s use of the Word “Son of God” before the incarnation prove that He was literally the Son in a biological sense, before the incarnation? When did Christ become “Jesus”? Mat 1:21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus , for he will save his people from their sins.” Luk 1:31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. Answer: Christ was called &ldq...
Let’s first understand what He did not mean. Christ did not mean that He is not the only true God. Why? Consider the following: The only way Christ can fully reveal the Father to us is if He is also the only true God. Christ called God all throughout the Bible. If He is not also the only true God, there are only two other options: either He is a lessor God or He is a false god. Christ is called “equal” with God. If He is equal, then He is also the only true God. ...
